The advisor estate planning platform Wealth.com announced this week a strategic integration with the popular financial planning platform eMoney Advisor.
According to executives, the move will let advisors populate estate planning documents with planning data from eMoney and synchronize updates of data between the two platforms in real time.
Wealth.com is used by more than 800 wealth management firms, the company said.
In March, the estate planning technology company launched its ‘Scenario Builder’ tool, for advisors to model estate plan situations and simulate the planning strategies and outcomes, including scenarios using trust instruments like grantor retained annuity trusts, spousal lifetime access trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, charitable lead annuity trusts, dynasty trusts and among others.
Also in March, eMoney launched an update of its ‘Needs Analysis’ feature, a tool meant to initiative planning conversations with mass market and mass affluent prospects and clients. That includes retirement, education, and spending goals. According to eMoney, new topics will be added in the coming months with Life Insurance rolling out soon, followed by annuity income, long-term care, and debt reduction in the near future, the company said.
