On Tuesday, 11 new civil lawsuits were filed against the brothers under an extension of the New York City Gender-Motivated Violence Act. A majority of plaintiffs allege they had been drugged before being assaulted by the Alexanders.

The legal battles against Tal, Oren and Alon Alexander continue, with 11 more women filing lawsuits against one or more of the brothers over allegations of sexual assault in New York on Tuesday.
The civil lawsuits were filed in bulk, with 10 plaintiffs named as “Jane Doe” and the 11th filed by a woman named Leah Peters. Antigone Curis of Curis Law and Andrew Van Arsdale of AVA Law Group are representing the women.

“We commend these survivors for coming forward and standing up against their abusers and look forward to pursuing justice on their behalf,” Curis told Inman in an emailed statement.
In total, the Alexander brothers are defending themselves against 17 civil lawsuits. Former star luxury brokers Tal and Oren were listed as defendants in four of the lawsuits each, as well as in two additional lawsuits together, and Alon, who was a private security executive, is a defendant in one of the lawsuits. The assault accusations span across Miami, Manhattan and Moscow.
Jenny Wilson and Richard Klugh, who are representing Oren, told The New York Times that the lawsuits constituted a “last-ditch money grab.”
“Oren will establish his innocence of this concerted attack driven in every instance by financial objectives,” they said.
In December, all three brothers were arrested in Miami on federal charges of sex trafficking and conspiring to commit sex trafficking. They are currently being held in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center where Sean “Diddy” Combs is also being held on similar charges.
At a court appearance on Feb. 7, Assistant U.S. Attorney Elizabeth Espinosa said the government had interviewed approximately 60 individuals who alleged being assaulted by at least one of the brothers over the years.
All three brothers have pleaded not guilty. Their federal trial is scheduled for January 2026.
In the most recent lawsuits, the oldest allegations against the brothers date back to 2010. Another was as recent as October 2019. In seven of the lawsuits, women described being handed something to drink before their alleged assault, then realizing they had likely been drugged.
In Peters’ complaint, she alleges that she met Oren at a party in Miami in 2018 that was being hosted at a luxury property. After offering to give her a tour, Oren then allegedly led Peters to a bedroom where he threw her on the bed and sexually assaulted her against her will.
Another complaint describes a woman meeting Tal at a nightclub in Manhattan in 2014. Two days later, Tal allegedly invited her on a date and asked her to meet him at his apartment for a drink before going to an event. Shortly after her arrival, Tal allegedly pushed her into the bedroom where he took off her clothes and sexually assaulted her. Afterwards, he allegedly told the woman she could “see herself out” because he had an event to attend.
The lawsuits are being filed under an extension of the New York City Gender-Motivated Violence Act, which allows survivors of gender-based violence to file older sexual assault claims that exceeded the statute of limitations. The deadline on the extension is Feb. 28, 2025.
“These men were predators roaming the street, bringing women back to their apartments and treating them in the worst way imaginable,” the lawyer Arsdale told The NYT. “These women’s lives were forever changed because of their actions, and under the law they have a right to hold them accountable.”
AVA Law Group is likewise representing upwards of 50 men and women who have filed sexual assault claims against “Diddy” Combs. The firm is additionally representing 30 more alleged victims of Combs with Curis Law and The Buzbee Law Firm.
Last week, a lawyer previously representing Tal and Oren in a lawsuit against Side stepped down from the case, claiming that the brothers failed to pay outstanding invoices to him and were nearly impossible to communicate with, given their incarceration in Brooklyn.
